Dual Access

While the fax is busy receiving a fax or using memory sending, you can reserve
the next fax transmission. This is called dual access. The send operation is the
same as a normal send operation.
While setting the next fax

Set the originals.
You can use either the SPF or the original table.
If necessary, select the original size, resolution, and exposure. (See
pages 1-11, 1-12, 1-14, 1-15)
Input the recipient's fax number.

You can use auto dialling.

Press the START key.
The original is scanned into memory. If scanning multiple originals
from the original table, place the next original, press the START key,
and repeat as necessary. After the last original has been scanned,
press the # key. (See page 2-5)
After scanning is finished, you return to the initial state display. (See
page 1-6)
As soon as the previously set faxes are sent or

received, the fax transmission that you have set begins.
Cancelling
To cancel a fax in memory...
Press the CLEAR key and sending is cancelled. (See next page)
You can print a list of jobs waiting in memory (timer
list). (See page 5-3)
Note
If the dialed number is busy, the next job waiting in
memory is started. This feature can be turned off with
a user program. (See page Appendix-11)
Up to 50 jobs can be waiting in memory. However,
depending on how much memory is installed and the
characteristics of the jobs (for example, how many
pages they contain and the sending conditions), the
maximum can be less than 50 jobs.
