ENTERING INFORMATION AND SETTING PROGRAMS (P101-P161)
P120 ID # SETTING
Use program P120 to enter the ID number of fax machines you want to allow to poll your fax machine. In addition to the
previously explained passcodes, you can use ID numbers for polling security. The ID number can only be used with certain
SHARP models. The ID number contains the system number of the polling fax machine. You can enter up to 10 ID numbers
for polling security.
You can print out a list of the ID numbers you have entered.
When you enter P120, the following message is displayed.
P120:ID # MODE

How to Enter ID Numbers
Press the "1" key.

ENTER ID CODE #
ID (01-10)
Enter the ID number (01 to 10) using the numeric keys.

Press the START key.
The following message is displayed.
STATION SYSTEM #
(0000-9999)
If you enter a previously entered ID number, you return to step 1.

Enter the 4-digit system number of the polling fax machine using the numeric keys.
Press the START key.

If you enter a system number used by another ID number, you return to step 4.
How to Erase ID numbers
Press the "2" key.

Enter the ID number (01 to 10) that you want to erase using the numeric keys.

If you entered an ID number that was not previously entered and press the START key, you return to the user
program display.
