MIST FILTER

1 month
Care Cycle
The MIST Filter Indicator Light turns on.
The frequency of maintenance (descaling) will depend on the hardness or the impurities
of the water that you use; the harder the water the more often descaling will be necessary.

Remove the MIST Filter from the MIST
Tray.
• Be careful of the water drops that may fall.
2
Preparing the descaling
solution.
Citric acid, available at some drugstores, or
100% bottled lemon juice are used for
descaling. Choose either one to use, and
prepare the descaling solution.
<For using citric acid>
Dissolve 3 teaspoons of citric acid and 600 ml of
luke-warm water in a suitable container, and stir well.
<For using lemon juice>
Use only bottled 100% lemon juice with no pulp
(please check before using and strain through a fine
strainer there seems to be some pulp). Pour 50 ml
of lemon juice and 600 ml of luke-warm water in a
suitable container, and stir well.
Presoak the mist filter in the
3
solution prior to cleaning.
When using lemon juice,
it is recommended to
presoak longer than
citric acid.
4
Rinse the MIST Filter with
water.
• Change the water and
repeat this procedure 2-
3 times.
• Use clean water each
time.
• Inadequate rinsing may
cause citric acid odour

press the MIST Filter Reset
Button on the main unit.
You will notice reddish-brown or
white deposits forming on the surface
of the MIST Filter. These impurities
(calcium, etc.) are due to the
impurities contained in tap water; this
is not a defect. Replace the MIST
Filter when it is covered completely
in white deposits.
