Troubleshooting of Minor Faults
TO AVOID RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
Repairs should only be carried out
by an authorized technician.
If repairs are necessary, and you
cannot eliminate the fault yourself with
the aid of the following table:
E:::I Turn the program selector to Off.
E:::I Disconnect the washing machine
from the power outlet.
E:::I Turn off the water taps.
Fault

Powerfailure,
Programis runningand/orthe dooris lockedfor safety
reasons.
Plugis looseor notinserted.
Programselectorturnedto Off beforeend of program.
Forsafetyreasons the doorhas beenlockedbecause the
waterlevel,temperature or speedis too high.
An interrupted programwill be resumedwhenpoweris
restored.If the laundryis to be removed duringa power
failure,call Customer Service
(referto Page24).
Wait untilthe programends;see Page19.
Eliminate the cause.
Selecta program.
See "Adda garment/Interrupting the program",Page19.
A fuse hasblown.
Powerfailure.
StaWPause buttonnot pressed.
Doornotclosedproperly.
Spinning is alreadyin progress;duringspin cyclethe
speedcannotbe changed.
Detergent w as dampor lumpy.
Water tap(s) not turned on.
Resetcircuitbreaker.
CallCustomer Service if this fault recurs.
An interrupted programwill be resumedwhenpoweris
restored.If the laundryis to be removed duringa power
failure,call Customer Service
(referto Page24).
Pressthe Start/Pause button.
Checkwhetherlaundryis trappedin door.
Closethe door(a click shouldbe heard).
Programcontinues.
Selectspeedbeforespinning.
Clean and dry the detergent dispenser; see Page 20.
Use the cap of the detergent bottle to measure liquid
detergents.
Turn on water tap(s) and press Start/Pause button.
Program continues.
AQUASTOP :Rp hose has been triggered. Checkfor safety indicator (refer to page 9). If red,
replace hose.
AQUASTOP :Rp is triggered
Supply hose kinked or pinched.
Strainers in supply hoseclogged.
Water pressure too low.
Close water tap and investigate leak.
Eliminate the cause.
Cleanthe water inlet strainers; see Page 20.
Eliminate the cause.
