Possible cause
no final spin was selected.

Detergent was damp or lumpy.
A fuse has tripped.

Plug is loose or not inserted.

Supply hose kinked or trapped.
Strainer in supply hose clogged.
This is not a fault.
The water lies below the visible part of the drum.
Loose debris is blocking the pump.
Lint producing laundry was washed at a high
temperature. The water drainage pipe or drain
hose is blocked.
The thread of the supply hose is not tight.
Leak in the drain hose.
If repairs are necessary, and you cannot eliminate
the fault yourself with the aid of the following table:
q Turn the program selector to Off.
q Disconnect the washing machine from the
power supply.
q Turn off the water tap.
q Call Customer Service (refer to Page 23).
Action
Select Drain or Spin.
Wait for 2 minutes.
Clean and dry the detergent dispenser
(refer to Page 19).
Use the dispensing aid for liquid detergent.
Call Customer Service / reset the fuse.
An interrupted program will be resumed when
power returns. If you wish to unload the
laundry, proceed as in Cleaning the drain
pump", Page 20.
Insert the plug.
Check whether laundry is trapped in door.
Close the loading door (a click should be
heard).
Press the Start button.
Turn on water tap.
Eliminate the cause.
Clean the strainer (refer to Page 22).
Clean the pump (refer to Page 20).
Clean the water drainage pipe and/or drain
hose.
Tighten the thread.
Replace the drain hose.
