Web Based Management

Overview

A standard Web Browser can be used to manage your machine using the HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer
Protocol) or HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer). You can perform the function
listed or get the following information from a machine on your network using a web browser.
Machine status information
Change Fax configuration items, such as General Setup, Address Book settings and Remote Fax (for
MFC models).
Change network settings such as TCP/IP information
Configure Secure Function Lock 2.0 (see Secure Function Lock 2.0 on page 59).
Configure Store Print Log to Network (see Store Print Log to Network on page 64).
Configure Scan to FTP (see Changing the Scan to FTP configuration using a web browser on page 68).
Configure Scan to Network (see Changing the Scan to Network configuration using a web browser

We recommend to use Windows
