AppleTalk and EtherTalk Networks for Macintosh

If you want to connect the printer to an AppleTalk or EtherTalk
network so multiple Macintosh computers can share the
printer, you need to obtain a LocalTalk or Ethernet interface
board. Contact your dealer or call EPSON Accessories at
(800) 873-7766 (U.S. only). In Canada, call (800) BUY-EPSON
for sales locations.
If you install the LocalTalk board, you also need to obtain a
Locking Connector Kit (DIN 8 version) for the printer. (If your
Macintosh is not already part of the network, you need to
obtain an additional kit for your Macintosh.)
If you install the EtherTalk board connected to a thin coaxial
(10BASE2) cable and the printer is the last device on the
network, you need to obtain a 50-ohm terminator. The Ethernet
transceiver is included on the EPSON Ethernet board, so you
do not need to obtain an Ethernet adapter box for the printer.
