Set the Mode Dial to <[_>.
Aim any AF point over the
subject.
®_ All the AF points will be used to focus,
and generally the closest object will
be focused.
_ Aiming the center AF point over the
subject will make focusing easier.
Focus confirmation light
Focus the subject.
_ Press the shutter button halfway, and
the lens focusing ring will rotate to
focus.
_y,, T he AF point achieving focus flashes
briefly in red. At the same time, the
beeper will sound and the focus
confirmation light <0> in the
viewfinder wiii light.
b if necessary, the built-in flash will pop-
up automatically.

Take the picture.
_ Press the shutter button completelyto
take the picture.
_y,, T he captured image will be displayed
for approx. 2 sec. on the LCD monitor.
_ If the built-in flash has popped up,
you can push it back down with your
fingers.
