To record video on this memory card, it is recommended to use only the XP+/SP/LP recording
modes
- Movies may not be recordedcorrectly on this memorycard if the recording modeis set to
MXP or FXPmode (C[_I 59).
To use this function change the camcorder's mode from ,_'_ to M
- Youpressed a button that cannot be used in mode. Set the mode switch to M to set
the camcorder to flexible recording mode.
Too many photos. Disconnect the USBcable.
- Disconnectthe USB cable.Try using a memory card reader or decreasethe number of photos
on the memory card to fewer than 2,500 photos (printers,Windows computers), or 1,000
photos (Macintosh computers).
- If a dialog box appeared on the computer screen, close it. Disconnectthe USBcable, and
restore the connection after a short while.
Total play time is too long
- The playlist cannot be convertedwhen its total playback time exceeds 2 hours and 30 min-
utes. Reducethe number of scenes in the playlist.
Unable to recognize the data
- Youtransferred data to the camcorder recorded in a different television system (PALor
SECAM).Play backthe recordingswith the device originally used to record them.
Unable to recover data
- Could not recover a corrupted file. Saveyour recordings (_ 128) and initialize the memory
using the [Complete Initialization[ option (C[_I40).
Messages Related to the Optional DWIO0 DVD Burner
If an error message appears while the camcorder is connected to the
optional DW-1 O0 DVD Burner, refer to the following section and also to
the instruction manual of the DVD Burner.
Cannot read the disc. Check the disc.
- During disc recording mode,this message can appear when a commercially availableDVD
disc (a DVDdisc containing movies, software, etc.) or an 8 cm mini DVDdisc is inserted.
Replacewith a brand new disc.
- During disc playback mode,this message can appearwhen a commercially available DVD
disc or a brand new DVDdisc is inserted. Replacewith an AVCHDdisc created with the DVD
Burner.
Close the memory card slot cover
- The memory card slot coveris open. Closethe coverafter correctly insertingthe memorycard
( _ 38).
