Built-in memory is full
- The built-in memoryis full ("_ End" appearson the screen).Delete some recordings
(_ 56, 102) to free some space. Saveyour recordings (_ 128) and initialize the built-in
memory (C[_I 40).
Cannot access the built-in memory
- There is a problem with the built-in memory. Contacta CanonService Center.
Cannot communicate with the battery pack. Continue using this battery pack?
- Youattached a battery pack that is not recommended by Canonfor usewith this camcorder.
- If you are using a battery pack recommended by Canonfor usewith this camcorder, there
may be a problemwith the camcorder or battery pack. Consult a CanonService Center.
Cannot convert
- Cannot accessthe memorycard. Check the memory card and make sure it is inserted cor-
rectly.
- Youinserted a MultiMedia Card(MMC) into the camcorder.Usea recommended memorycard
( [._[_1 37).
- There was an error creating the file name. Set _ _ [Photo Numbering[ to [Reset[and
initialize the memorycard or delete all the photos (_ 102) and all the scenes inthe [ForWeb
Upload[ and [For DVDBurning[ index screens (_ 56).
Cannot copy
- The total size of the scenesyou selected to copy exceedsthe available space onthe memory
card. Delete some recordings on the memory card (C[_I56,102) or reduce the number of
scenes to copy.
- The memory card alreadycontains the maximum number of scenes (3,999 scenes). Delete
some scenes (_ 56) to free some space.
Cannot divide the scene. Initialize only using the camcorder.
- The scene could not be divided becausethe camcorder'sinternal scene managementdata log
is full. Save your recordings ([.Z3 126) and initialize the memory (C[_I 40). Write backthe
backup files and try dividing the scene again.
Cannot edit
- Could not movea scene in the playlist. Deletesome scenes from the playlist (_ 95).
Cannot enter standby mode now
- The camcorder cannot enter standby mode if the remaining battery charge is too low. Charge
or replace the battery pack (_ 23).
Cannot play back
- There is a problem with the memory. If this message appearsoften without apparent reason,
contact a CanonService Center.
