After using the camcorder for a long time, it becomes hot.
- The camcorder may become hot after using it continuouslyfor long periods of time; this is not
a malfunction. If the camcorder becomes unusually hot or it becomes hot after using it only
for a short while, it may indicatea problem with the camcorder. Consulta CanonService Cen-

Playback
Cannot add scenes to the playlist.
- The playlist can contain a maximum of 999 scenes.If the playlist includes scenes recordedin
MXP or FXPmode, the maximum number of scenes in the playlist may be lessthan 999.
- Youmay not beable to add to the playlist scenes recordedor edited using another device.
- The memory is full. Delete some recordings(_[_150, 102) or initialize the memory (_[_140) to
free some space.
Cannot move scenes in the playlist.

- The photo is protected. Removethe protection (_ 115).
Cannot capture a video snapshot scene from a movie.
- Youcannot capture video snapshot scenes from scenes recorded or edited using another
device.
- The memory is full. Delete some recordings([.Z_I56, 102) or initialize the memory ([.Z_I40) to
free some space.
When playing back scenes/slideshow with background music, the music track is not played
back correctly.
- This canoccur when you transfer the music files to a memoryafter repeatedly recording and
deleting scenes(fragmented memory). Saveyour recordings (_ 128) and initialize the
memory ([-Z_J 40). Then, transfer the music files first and only then write the video files back
to the memory.
- Music tracks will not play back correctly if the connection was interruptedwhile transferring
the music files. Delete the music tracks and transfer the music files again.
- The transfer rate of the memory card used is too slow. Usea recommendedmemory card
(_ 37).
