CHAPTER 3: Replacing notebook components
To remove the battery:
1
Turn the notebook over so the base is facing up.

Slide the battery lock to the unlocked position.

Slide the battery release latch (a), then remove the battery out of the
notebook (b).

The battery is highlighted with a yellow circle in the above image.
Follow local regulations for battery disposal.
