2.5 Setting the Dip Switch

The S5U1C63000H2 works with a personal computer that runs Windows as a host. With a general
computer that meets the condition, the serial transfer rate set at the factory (9600 bps) is good for use. In
case the rate is changed, the transfer rate between the host computer can be changed by this switch. The
switch also sets a self diagnostic function, which is equipped in the S5U1C63000H2, working or not
working at the power on. Figure 2.5.1 shows the dip switch.

Note: The setting at the host end is recommended to be "9600 bps, 8-bit character, 1 stop bit, no parity".

Open means that the switch lever is at upper side.
