When performing the following operation to manage the newest file for the network device, be sure to back up the file for configuration
of the network device in the rcxadm netdevice cfbackup command.

When the file for configuration of the network device has been updated, the configuration of management information has been
changed, or the server certificate updated, log in to network device directly
The backup is stored in the network device file storage area of the ROR admin server.
When backing up the network device file, the backup method differs according to the specifications of network devices.

When the network device has an ftp server function
When backup is performed, network connection to the specified device is made directly, and the backup performed.

When the network device does not have an ftp server function
When backup is performed, the backup will be performed over the external ftp server defined using the rcxadm netconfig command
in advance.

10.2.3 Restoration of Network Devices
Restoration is performed in the following cases.

When executing rcxadm netdevice cfrestore
This section describes the restoration procedure o++f backup network device files.
When the Backed Up Network Device File is a "network device configuration file" or "network device
environment file"
Restore the backup network device file using the rcxadm netdevice cfrestore command.
When the Backed Up Network Device Files are both the "network device configuration file" and the "network
device environment file".

Confirm the newer backup date by displaying the backup dates of the newest "network device configuration file" and "network
device environment file" using the rcxadm netdevice cflist command.

Perform restoration by either restoration procedure according to the confirmed backup date.

When the backup date of the latest "network device configuration file" is newer
a.
Restore the "network device environment file" using the rcxadm netdevice cfrestore command.
b.
Restore the "network device configuration file" using the rcxadm netdevice cfrestore command.

When the backup date of the "network device environment file" is newer
a.
Restore only the "network device environment file" using the rcxadm netdevice cfrestore command.
