The engine exhaust from this product
contains chemicals known to the State of
California to cause cancer, birth defects,
or other reproductive harm.
Important: The engine in this product is not
equipped with a spark arrester muffler. It is a
violation of California Public Resource Code
(CPRC) Section 4442 to use or operate this
engine on any forest-covered, brush-covered, or
grass-covered land as defined in CPRC 4126.
Other states or federal areas may have similar
laws.
To acquire a spark arrester for your unit, see your
Engine Service Dealer.
This spark ignition system complies with Canadian
ICES-002, ISO 14982, EN 55012.
The enclosed Engine Owner's Manual is
supplied for information regarding the US
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and
the California Emission Control Regulation of
emission systems, maintenance, and warranty.
Replacements may be ordered through the
engine manufacturer.
For models with stated engine horsepower, the gross
horsepower of the engine was laboratory rated by the
engine manufacturer in accordance with SAE J1940.
As configured to meet safety, emission, and operating
requirements, the actual engine horsepower on this
class of lawn mower will be significantly lower.
