The project is resized according to your choices.
Note: It is recommended that you resize any buttons before resizing the project. This is because resizing a project will
not resize the buttons automatically.

Setting the background color

You can set the background color of the project. Depending upon the type of slide and how a screenshot is
captured, the background color may or may not appear on all slides.
To set the background color:

Open an Adobe Captivate project.
Select Edit > Preferences.

The Preferences dialog box appears.
In the Category panel, expand Project, and select Settings.

In the Visual and sound effects area, select a color from the Project background color pop-up menu.

Pick a color from the basic colors palette.

Click More Colors to design a custom color.

Click the eyedropper icon to select and copy any color on your screen.

In the text field, enter the value for the color you want and press Enter.
Click OK.

Setting project preferences

You can set a variety of project preferences. Any preferences you select are for the currently open project only,
enabling you to set different preferences for different projects.
Tip:If you want to set project preferences and use those same preferences to create more projects in the future, you can
do it easily. Simply create a blank project, set preferences by using the following procedure, and then save the blank
project as a template. You can use the new template to create as many projects as you need.
