OW TO CONFIGURE ROUTING PATH TO
The DVX-7090 Router provides for two types of call pickup:
1. group call pickup and
2. directed call pickup
Group call pickup allows you to answer any ringing phone that is in the same pickup group
with you simply by dialing the pickup number.
In directed call pickup you must enter the call pickup key sequence and dial the extension
number of the ringing phone to answer the call. You do not have to be in the same group with
the user of the ringing phone to use directed call pickup.
Suppose the administrator assigns key sequence 888 for the call pickup rule.
To configure call pickup:
1. Click

3. In the text box Route name of the add-new-route dialog replace the default name Route
#... entering a descriptive name to your liking, for example Pick Up.
4. Select the option Service in the combo box Command
5. Select the name of the service that ensures pick up from the drop-down list of service
names of the combo box Argument.
6. As the source number is of no importance here, leave the edit boxes on the line Source
unchanged. Enter the Pick up service destination number 888 in the edit box Match and
edit box Pattern followed by a regular expression for whatever number that may be
dialed after 888, to allow for directional pick up.
7. Make sure the checkbox Enabled is selected or the routing rule will remain inactive.
