4.1.5 EEPROM Reset Procedure
This operation is required when the C160 MAIN Board is replaced, when the waste ink drain pad is
replaced, or to recover from printer malfunction. There are two reset methods for this printer. (Reset
All and Reset Maintenance Error Only)
Reset All
1.
Turn printer power on while pressing the ALT and Pause buttons.
2. Hold down the Load / Eject button for 10 seconds.
Note:
The Pause and Economy LEDs start to blink when printer accepts the reset mode. If the
Pause and Economy LEDs do not start to blink, return to step 1.
3. Press the Pause button. Then printer starts initialization automatically.
Reset Maintenance Error Only

1. Turn printer power on while pressing the ALT and Pause buttons.
