Playback from the Thumbnail Screen

Insert P2 cards in both master and slave
units.

Press the THUMBNAIL button on the
master unit, and move the cursor to the clip
to play back.
◆ NOTE:
• All clips are displayed as thumbnails.
• On the slave unit, only the THUMBNAIL and
Up/Down/Left/Right cursor buttons are
enabled for checking clip order. Playback
control is not available on the slave unit
while the thumbnails are displayed.

Press the PLAY or STILL/PAUSE button
on the master unit.
Pressing either button automatically cues the
slave position to match the master's clip
number and time code position.
Pressing the PLAY button also starts
playback.

◆ NOTE:
• When the clip time codes are different,
incorrect synchronization prevents correct
playback.
• When the first position of the master clip is
earlier than that of the slave, the master is
cued to the first position of the slave.
• The slave unit starts playback from the clip
with the same clip number as on the master.

Press the STOP button on the master unit
to stop playback.
◆ NOTE:
• When stopped, no image (black screen) is
displayed.
