How t o Ride the Motorcycle

To Stop the Engine

1 Engine stop switch
2 Starter button
3 Neutral indicator light
4 On position
5 Ignition switch
Close the throttle completely.
Select neutral.
Turn the ignition switch off.
Support the motorcycle on
level surface with the side stand.
Lock the steering.
The engine should normally be
stopped by turning the ignition
switch to the off position. The
engine
stop
switch
emergency use only. Do not leave
the ignition switched on with the
engine stopped. Electrical damage
may result.

To Start the Engine

Check that the engine stop switch is
in the run position.
Ensure
neutral.
Pull the clutch lever fully into the
handlebar.
Turn the ignition switch on.
