2.4 Grease Application

This printer requires only 1 type of grease, MOLYKOTE PG-641 (CK-0562).
The points to apply the grease are shown below.
Use the flat brush to apply grease evenly.
Refer to the Parts Catalog for disassembly/reassembly procedures.
CAUTION
Pick-up Roller Sliding Surface
Approx. 7mg (Molykote PG-641)
Feed Roller Sliding Surface
(3 locations at the back of the platen)
Approx. 14mg each (Molykote PG-641)
Make sure that grease does not contact the wiper or the head cap.
Carriage Shaft Sliding Surface
(apply the proper amount of grease
so as not to drop)
Approx. 200mg (Molykote PG-641)
