If you intend to unscrew the Waterproof
system unit from the mains water sup-
ply it is essential that the machine is
first disconnected from the electricity
supply.
Only use a Miele Waterproof system
should you ever need a replacement or
extension. These are tested to with-
stand pressure of at least 70 bar.
In order to protect the water inlet
valves the dirt filter in the solenoid
safety valve connection must not be
removed.
Accessories
Should the distance between the inlet
and the machine be greater than 1.5
metres, a 1.5 metre long (metal) exten-
sion hose is available from your Miele
dealer or the Miele Spare Parts Depart-
ment as an optional extra.
This hose is tested to withstand press-
ures of up to 140 bar and can be used
as a flexible extension to the water sup-
ply.
