With a little practise use of clamp soon becomes second nature. If, however, a crackling sound is heard when the platter is fully rotating then check height of the platter. D. 4. Is support unstable, ie. support which moves with low frequency (under 4 Hz). 5. Check that screws securing legs are properly fixed.
