Making and Answering Data Calls
Two-Stage Dialing
Calls through a modem pool are placed using two-stage
dialing:
In the first stage, you enter
or data hunt group extension
analog-to-digital or digital-to-analog modem pool you
are calling.
In the second stage, you enter the extension of the
analog or digital data station for inside calls. For
outside calls, you enter the dial-out code and
telephone number of the outside analog or digital data
station. You can enter account codes on the second
stage of dialing.
NOTE:
You cannot enter an account code in the first stage of
dialing through a modem pool. If you enter the account
code during the second stage of dialing, the account
code is associated with the extension for the modem or
75006 Data Module in the outgoing side of the modem
pool.
