Making and Answering Data Calls
To Call Outside Digital Data Stations
If your telephone has SA buttons, an SA button is
automatically selected after you type the dialing sequence
and press
[
include a dial-out code before the telephone number.
If your telephone has ICOM buttons, an ICOM button is
automatically selected after you type the dialing sequence
and press
[
your data station by dialing the dial-out code (usually 9). To
dial a specific DFT (outside line) to access PRI services, your
dial-out code would be a DSO channel number (for example,
801, 802, etc. ) Ask your system manager for your dial-out
code or the appropriate channel number to use in dialing from
your digital data station.
Make sure you have the telephone number of the digital data
station you are calling.
NOTE:
You do not enter a pause (,) in the dialing sequence to
separate the dial-out code or channel number from the
telephone number when calling from a digital data station.
