Removing the Control Unit Housing
1. Disconnect AC power from each auxiliary power unit at the wall outlet.

remove the housing as follows.
Remove the front housing from each carrier by pulling the

up as shown in Figure 1-1.

Remove the top from each carrier in the system by pushing it
straight up from the front.
If the existing control unit is a MERLIN LEGEND Communications
System, remove the housing as follows.
a. From both sides of the control unit, pry the clips from the
housing, using a screwdriver if difficult to reach.
