Before using your Baumatic wine cooler
Avoid locating the appliance in a location that gets damp. Too much
moisture in the air will cause frost to form more quickly on the evaporator.
Plug the appliance into an exclusive, properly installed and earthed wall
socket. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the earth wire
from the power cable. Any questions concerning the electrical connection
should be directed towards a certified electrician or the Baumatic Technical
Department.
You must attach the doo r handle to the left hand side of the frame before
you start to use the wine cooler.
Improper use of the earthed plug can result in the risk of electrical
shock. If the power cable is damaged you should have it replaced by
an authorised Baumatic engineer.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Do not store food in your wine cooler, as the interior temperature will not be
cool enough to prevent spoilage. The outside of the glass door may suffer
from condensation during the summer or if it is installed in an area of high
humidity. You can simply wipe the condensation away with a cloth.
OPERATING YOUR WINE COOLER
Before starting the wine cooler, ensure that the cabinet is level. This will
eliminate the possibility of vibration when the wine cooler is in use.
We recommend that you install the wine cooler in a place where the ambient
temperature is between +16 and +32 degrees centigrade. If the ambient
temperature falls outside of this temperature range then it may cause the
interior temperature to fluctuate. The recommended temperatures for
chilling wine are as follows:-
15-18 degrees centigrade
Red wines:
10-15 degrees centigrade
Dry/White Wines
9-10 degrees centigrade
