System Hang
Description
A misaligned Move String or Store String instruction with a REP prefix that crosses a page boundary may cause
a system hang This may occur when the TLB entry for the leading page is evicted while the string operation is
executing or the trailing page of the string operation crosses into a large page GB or MB which requires an
address translation due to a TLB miss
Potential Effect on System
Unpredictable system behavior likely leading to a system hang
