Before you begin, verify that you have an appropriate IEEE 1284 compliant parallel
printer cable to connect the print server to the printer.
1 connect the parallel cable
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Connect the appropriate IEEE 1284
compliant parallel printer cable to the
printer and the print server.
3. Turn on the printer.
2 plug in the power cord
1. Plug the small end of the power cord
into the print server.
2. Plug the conventional end of the power
cord into the power source.
Note The print server does not have a
power switch. It automatically turns on
when the power cord is connected to a
power source.
