USING YOUR OUTDOOR POWER™ BURNER
Inspect the LP Gas Fuel Tank Supply Hose
Inspect the gas pressure regulator/hose assembly before each
use.
1. Open the cabinet door and slide 20 lb LP gas fuel tank out.
2. Inspect the entire gas pressure regulator/hose assembly for
cuts, abrasions, or excessive wear.
3. If necessary, replace the gas pressure regulator/hose
assembly before using the Power™ burner.
Contact the dealer and use only replacement hoses specified for
use with the Power™ burner.
A. Gas pressure regulator/hose assembly
Prepare the Gas Supply
1. Remove outdoor Power™ burner cover.
2. Make sure the control knobs are all turned to the OFF
position.
Turn the Gas Supply On
1. For outdoor Power™ burners using a 20 lb LP gas fuel tank:
Slowly open the tank valve.
NOTE: If flow limiting device activates, your Power™ burner
may not light. If your Power™ burner does light, the flames
will be low and will not heat properly. Turn 20 lb LP gas fuel
tank valve and all control knobs off and wait 30 seconds.
After shutting off the 20 lb LP gas fuel tank, very slowly open
tank valve and wait 5 seconds before lighting.
2. For outdoor Power™ burners using gas supply source other
than 20 lb LP gas fuel tank:
Open the manual shutoff valve in the gas supply line. The
valve is open when the handle is parallel to the gas pipe.
Power™ Burner Use
The Power™ Burner, depending on your need, can be used with:
The inner burner provides lowest amount of heat for cooking
smaller quantities of food or liquid using smaller pots and
pans.
The outer burner provides high heat for cooking large
quantities of food or liquid using large pots and pans.
Both inner and outer burners together, provide extra-high
heat for cooking extra-large quantities of food or liquid using
extra-large pots and pans.

Wok Ring
NOTE: The Power™ burner can be used with or without the wok
ring. Without the wok ring, the heat zone expands to the edges of
the grate.
IMPORTANT: Before removing the Power™ burner grate, make
sure the gas supply is Off, all controls are in the Off position, and
the Power™ burner is cool.
To Remove the Wok Ring
1. Remove the Power™ burner grate.
2. Remove the wok ring. Twist counterclockwise, lift, and set
aside for future use with a wok.
3.
Replace burner grate.
To Replace the Wok Ring:
1. Remove the Power™ burner grate and set aside for future
use.
2. Set the wok ring into the notches in Power™ burner frame.
Twist clockwise to secure.
3. Place wok onto wok ring.
