The first 2 letters signify the manufacturer -UC represents UniVision Canada

The next block of alpha numeric signifies the product series – PICO2K
represents PICO2000 digital video recorder system.

The next 3 numbers XXX represent the functional requirement of the
recorder model. The first number signifies the number of real time video
that the model will display, i.e. 4 represents that the model will display
FOUR cameras in real time video. The next 2 numbers signify the
maximum number of video inputs, including the real time video, that the
model will support, i.e. 13 represents that a total of 13 cameras can be
connected to the system.

The presence of the next character indicates that the model will have
additional recording features:-
A – One channel synchronized Audio recording capability.
R – Four real time video-recording capability.
M- One channel synchronized Audio recording and four real time video
recording capability

The next two letters ZZ differentiates whether the unit is supplied as a
"Demo" – DM or as a "package" - PG.
The next two numbers signify the language to which the version of the software
supports, i.e. 00 for English, 01 for Chinese and 02 for French etc.

To order a "package" system of PICO2000 digital recorder from UniVision
Canada for 13 camera inputs, 4 real time video display, one channel audio
recording and 4 real time videos recording capability. The system will be
assembled in the PC locally by the OEM/distributor. The required language
version will be in Chinese.
