Directory Dialing

Directory dialing allows you to look up the other party's name you registered and
retrieve the number for dialling.This feature is convenient when you know the other
party's name but cannot recall the one-touch speed dialling key, the code for coded
speed dialling, or group dialling where the number is registered.
Press [Directory].
<NOT REGISTERED> appears if there are no numbers registered, and the display
returns to dial entry mode.
Press a numeric key to enter the first letter of the name of the

party you are searching for.
For example, if you want to search for a name that starts with the letter "H", press 4
(GHI) twice.
Entries starting with the letter you entered are displayed.
If there is no entry that starts with the letter you entered, entries that start with the next
letter will be displayed.
Press [ (-)] or [ (+)] to display the other names.
Pressing [ (+)] displays the names of other parties in alphabetical order.
Pressing [ (-)] displays them in reverse order.
When you reach the last name, the display returns to the first name.
The other party's name, or the name for group dialing appear.
With the name you want to dial displayed, press [Set].
Press [B&W Start] to dial the number(s).
