AUTOMATIC
CYCLES
Automatic Cycles may be used for most loads. These cycles give the
optimal drying in the shortest time. Drying time varies according to
the type of fabric, size of the load, and dryness setting.
Automatic
Drying
Cycles
All Auto Cycles are preset to NORMAL DRY, which is good for most
fabrics. At the end of the cycle, you may check the dryness of the
load.
- If the load is drier than you like, you may select the Less Dry
setting the next time you dry a similar load.
- If a load is not as dry as you like, you may complete drying using
a Timed cycle. You may select the More Dry setting the next time
you dry a similar load.

Sensor System Auto Moisture

Dryness is determined
by an electronic sensor that "feels" the amount
of moisture in clothes as they pass over it. When the selected dryness

Timed Dry
This cycle may be used to get up to 80 minutes of heated drying time.
Both time and temperature
levels can be adjusted.
Quick Dry
Use this cycle for drying small loads or loads that need a short drying
time. This setting provides 24 minutes of heated tumbling
with a coo[
down period.
Touch Up
Use this cycle to help smooth out wrinkles from such items as clothes
packed in a suitcase or items wrinkled from being left in the dryer too
long. This setting provides about 20 minutes of heated tumbling
followed by a cool down period of up to 10 minutes.

OPTIONS
Drum
Light
On some models, press DRUM LIGHT anytime to turn the drum light
ON or OFF. When the dryer door is opened, the drum light turns on.
The drum light will turn off when the dryer door is closed or after the
dryer door has been open for 5 minutes.
WRINKLE SHIELD
TM
Option
The dryer continues to tumble every 5 minutes after the cycle is
complete
to help keep wrinkles from setting into clean, dry fabrics.
The intermittent
tumbling
can continue for as long as 90 minutes or
until the dryer is stopped and the load removed.
NOTE: When the WRINKLE SHIELD
TM
setting is selected and the End of
Cycle Signal is on, a tone sounds every 5 minutes until the clothes are
removed, or the WRINKLE SHIELD
TM
setting ends.
Damp Dry Signal
The dryer will alert you when the clothes are approximately
80% dry,
helping avoid overdrying
items that you prefer to hang dry.
End of Cyde Signal
The End of Cycle Signal produces an audible sound when the drying
cycle is finished. Promptly
removing clothes at the end of the cycle
reduces wrinkling.
Press END OF CYCLE SIGNAL until the desired
volume (Loud, Soft or Off) is selected.
