Using the CAMCORDER - Advanced Recording

REC MODE

The REC MODE function works in both CAMCORDER and
PLAY(DV IN) modes.
This camcorder records and plays back in SP (standard play)
mode and in LP (long play) mode.
SP (standard play): This mode permits 60 minutes of
recording time with a DVM60 tape.
LP (long play): This mode permits 90 minutes of recording
time with a DVM60 tape.
1. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the
power switch to REC mode.
2. Press the MENU button.
The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight CAMCORDER
and press the MENU DIAL.
4. Select RECORD SET from the sub-menu and
press the MENU DIAL.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight REC MODE and
press the MENU DIAL.
6. Select REC MODE from the sub-menu and press
the MENU DIAL.
The REC MODE toggles between SP and LP
with each press.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
Notes
We recommend that you use this camcorder to
play back any tapes recorded on this camcorder.
Playing back a tape recorded in other equipment
may produce mosaic shaped distortion.
When you record a tape in SP and LP modes,
or LP mode only, the playback picture may be
distorted or the time code
may not be written properly between scenes.
Record using SP mode for the best picture and sound quality.

La fonction REC MODE <MODE D'ENREGISTREMENT> est
disponible en modes CAMCORDER <CAMESCOPE> et
PLAY (DV IN) <LECTURE (DV IN)>.
Ce caméscope peut enregistrer et lire des cassettes en mode
SP (standard) et LP (longue durée).
SP (standard) : offre 60 minutes d'enregistrement sur une
bande DVM60.
LP (longue durée) : offre 90 minutes d'enregistrement sur une
bande DVM60.

1. Réglez l'appareil sur CAMCORDER
<CAMESCOPE>, puis le commutateur sur le mode
REC <ENR.>.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU.
La liste des options apparaît.
3. À l'aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez
CAMCORDER <CAMESCOPE>, puis appuyez sur
la molette MENU.
4. Sélectionnez RECORD SET <REGLAGE ENR. >
dans le sous-menu et appuyez sur la molette MENU.
5. À l'aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez REC
MODE <MODE D'ENREGISTREMENT>, puis
appuyez sur la molette MENU.
6. Sélectionnez REC MODE <MODE D'ENREG-
ISTREMENT> dans le sous-menu et appuyez sur la
molette MENU.
SP et LP s'affichent alors alternativement à
chaque appui.
7. Pour quitter, appuyez sur la touche MENU.
Remarques
Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser ce caméscope
pour lire les bandes que vous avez enregistrées
avec ce dernier.
Si vous lisez des bandes enregistrées avec un autre
appareil, la qualité de l'image risque d'être altérée.
Lorsque vous utilisez à la fois les modes SP et LP
sur une même bande, ou le mode LP uniquement,
l'image visionnée risque d'être déformée ou l'horo
datage peut être incorrect.
Pour conserver une bonne qualité sonore et visuelle,
il est conseillé d'utiliser le mode d'enregistrement
standard SP.
