Using the FLASH

The FLASH works in CAMERA mode only.
When power is supplied, FLASH mode is set to Auto. When you
change FLASH modes, an icon that shows the current FLASH
mode will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Using a flash enables the user to take bright pictures in dark
circumstances, such as nighttime shooting and in shaded areas.
Notes
By setting the Power Switch to CAMERA
Mode after placing the CAMERA side of the
Lens Body Block to the forward position, the
FLASH will automatically open according to
the lighting conditions.
To close the FLASH, push the FLASH cover
until it clicks.
The Flash does not function in CONTINUOUS
SHOT mode or CAMCORDER Mode.
The battery power will be consumed faster with repeated use of
the flash.
To use the flash again, wait until the flash is recharged
(5 to 7 seconds).

Utilisation du flash

Le flash fonctionne uniquement en mode CAMERA <APPAREIL
PHOTO>.
A la mise sous tension, le mode FLASH <FLASH> est réglé sur
Auto <Auto>. Lors d'un changement de mode FLASH <FLASH>,
une icône indiquant le mode FLASH <FLASH> actuel s'affiche sur
l'écran LCD.
L'utilisation d'un flash vous permet de prendre des photos
lumineuses dans un environnement sombre : de nuit ou dans des
zones ombragées par exemple.
Remarques
Si vous réglez le commutateur sur le mode
CAMERA <APPAREIL PHOTO> après avoir
placé le bloc d'objectif en position CAMERA
<APPAREIL PHOTO>, le flash s'ouvre
automatiquement en fonction des conditions
d'éclairage.
Pour fermer le flash, rabattez-le dans son
logement jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un
clic.
Le flash ne fonctionne pas en mode
CONTINUOUS SHOT <PLAN CONTINU> ou
en mode CAMCORDER <CAMESCOPE>.
L'utilisation répétée du flash décharge plus
rapidement la batterie.
Pour réutiliser le flash, attendez qu'il se soit
rechargé (de 5 à 7 secondes).
