Protection from Accidental Erasure

You can protect important images from accidental erasure.
If you execute FORMAT, all images including protected images
will be erased.
1. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the
Power Switch to MEMORY PLAY mode.
2. Using the (FWD) and
search for the still image that you want to mark.
3. Press the MENU button.
The menu list will appear.
4. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MEMORY and
press the MENU DIAL.
The MEMORY SET sub-menu will appear.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PROTECT and
press the MENU DIAL.
6. Press the MENU DIAL to set PROTECT to ON or
OFF.
THIS FILE : protects the currently selected file
from erasure.
7. Using the (FWD) and
the still image that you wish to protect.
8. To exit the menu, press the MENU button.

Protection contre un effacement accidentel

Vous pouvez protéger les images des effacements accidentels.
La fonction FORMAT <FORMATAGE DE LA MEMOIRE>
entraîne la suppression de toutes les images, y compris les
images protégées.
1. Réglez l'appareil sur le mode CAMCORDER
<CAMESCOPE>, puis le commutateur sur le mode
MEMORY PLAY <LECTURE PHOTO>.

7. À l'aide des touches
recherchez l'image que vous souhaitez protéger.
8. Pour quitter le menu, appuyez sur la touche
MENU.
