Reactivating/canceling the timer program

The settings made in "Making the program timer reservation" can be reactivated or canceled. (See page 33.)

Setting the Sleep timer (SLEEP)

The system switches OFF (standby mode) automatically after the set period of time has elapsed.
Using the Auto Power Save function (A
When this function is ON, the system switches OFF (standby mode) automatically when it has been left untouched in the CD stop mode
for about 30 minutes. This function is convenient in assisting you in case you forget to switch the system OFF.

4 All OFF: The program timer operation is canceled.
÷ The program setting is held in memory even after the timer opera-
tion is canceled.
Each press switches the selection.
10 = 20 = 30 ..... 70 = 80 = 90 = canceled = 10 = 20 ....
Lights when the sleep timer is ON

÷ Each press of the key increments the time by 10 minutes.
The sleep time can be set up to 90 minutes.
÷ The sleep timer is canceled when the system is switched OFF
(standby mode).
÷ Pressing the SLEEP key while the sleep timer is activated dis-
plays the remaining time until the sleep timer expires.
