Web Configuration Interface

IP Configuration

The IP Configuration page (FIG. 33) allows you to specify how the Web Configuration Interface
acquires an IP address. You can enable or disable DHCP address acquisition or you can assign a fixed IP
address to the interface.

Setting DHCP Configuration

The current DHCP status is displayed along with the DHCP address, gateway, mask and DNS server that
has been acquired.
To enable or disable DHCP address acquisition:
1. From the IP Configuration page, select whether to Enable or Disable DHCP.
2. Click the Save Settings button. If the new parameters are acceptable, the new screen will read
"Restarting. Please Wait..." before moving to the Summary page.
3. Click the IP Configuration link at the top of the Summary page to confirm that the DHCP
configuration values were changed.
All changes will take effect after the PTE-300 reboots.

This selects whether DHCP is enabled or disabled, in order to allow static IP.
