Operation

Fast Forward/Rewind

Fast forward or rewind the song currently being
played.
Press and hold the [

button.
[ ] button:
Fast forward.
[ ] button:
Rewind.
Playing the beginning of
tracks (SCAN)

Press the [4 SCAN] button.
Pressing the button causes the
player to move up to the next track
and play it for 10 seconds, then
move up to the next track and play it
for 10 seconds, and so on until the
button is pressed again.
ATTENTION
• To continue playing a desired
track, press the button again to
stop scanning.
• After the entire disc is scanned
once, ordinary

Repeating the same track

Press the [5 RPT] button to repeat

• During random playback, press

During playback of a particular
track: The track being played is
played repeatedly.
While searching: The following
track is played repeatedly.
• Occasionally
happens to be played (selected)
two or more times in a row; this is
normal operation and is not a sign
of a problem.
• When any of the functions -
"Playing the beginning of tracks,
"Repeating the same track" and
"Playing tracks in random order" -
is selected, a message such as
[SCAN], [REPEAT] or [RANDOM]
appears on the display to verify
the current function.
