Recording a CD to an SD
card/USB device
The recordable format for the unit is as
follows:
MP3
 Sampling frequency 44.1 kHz (fixed)
 Bit rate 128 kbps (fixed)
The sampling frequency and bit rate cannot
be changed.
Before recording, check the following.
 The SD card (or USB device) is usable
with the unit. (page 6)
 There is sufficient capacity on the SD
card/USB device.
Perform the following to check the
capacity.
1. Press MENU.
2. Press  until "SD" or "USB"
appears, then press ENTER.
3. Press  until "Recordable Time"
appears, then press ENTER.
 When recording from a CD, the tracks
are recorded as MP3 files at 128 kbps.
When recording from an MP3/WMA
disc, MP3/WMA files are recorded
with the same bit rate as the original
MP3/WMA files.

Basic Operations
To record all tracks
1
Press CD (direct power-on).
2
Press PUSH OPEN/CLOSE () to open
the CD lid.
3
Insert CD.
After inserting the CD, press the center
of the CD, then close the CD lid.
