Removing the Display Hinge Cover

1. Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page
2. Remove the display assembly (see "Removing the Display Assembly" on
page 73).
3. Remove the five screws that secure the display hinge cover to the display
assembly.
4. Pry the display hinge cover up with a plastic scribe.

Replacing the Display Hinge Cover

1. Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page
2. Route the antenna, display, and camera cables through the display hinge
cover.
3. Align the screw holes on the display hinge cover with the display back cover.
4. Replace the five screws that secure the display hinge cover to the display
assembly.
5. Replace the display assembly (see "Replacing the Display Assembly" on
page 75).
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and
ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do
so may result in damage to the computer.
