To configure a static route:
1. In the Advanced section of the main menu, select Static Routes to display the Static Routes
screen:

2. Click Add to display the Add New Static Route screen.

3. In the IP Address field, enter the IP address of the final destination.
4. In the Netmask field, enter the subnet mask of the final destination.
5. Specify how the packets must be forwarded by selecting a radio button:
• Gateway IP Address. Forward packets to a gateway, which must be a router on the same
network segment as the modem router. Enter the IP address of the gateway.
