Switching on/off (when off can't be used for emergency calls)
1 Press the HANG UP/ C button to turn the phone 'ON'.
2 Press the HANG UP/C button and hold for two seconds to turn
the phone 'OFF'.
** You can switch the handset off and save battery.
Note: To answer a call when the handset is switched off, you need to switch it
back on. It may take a few moments for the handset to re-establish a radio link
with the base unit.
To lock/unlock the key pad
To lock
1 Press the HASH button and hold for 2 seconds until the

To unlock
Press the button to select 'Unlock'.

Set time & date
1 Press the menu button.
