RIDING TIPS

STARTING THE ENGINE

Before attempting to
start the engine make
sure :
1. Inspect every day once before riding
the motorcycle.
2. The transmission is in neutral.
3. The ignition switch is in the "ON"
position.
4. The engine stop switch is in the "
position.
5. Moving the side stand to the fully
upper position.
6. Push the starter switch without turning
the throttle grip after go out the "FI"
check lamp .
WARNING
The
the side stand ignition interlock system.
1. If the transmission is in neutral, you
can start the engine regardless of
clutch lever and side stand.
2. If the transmission is not in neutral,
you can only start the engine with
pulling in clutch lever and side stand
up.
Make sure that the side stand igintion
interlock system is working properly
before riding.
CAUTION
always comes on the
position lamp, meter lamp, tail lamp and
license plate lamp when the ignition
switch is turned to the "ON" position.

WARNING
Running the engine indoors or in a
garage can be hazardous.
Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide,
a gas that is colorless and odorless and
can cause death or severe injury.
Only run the engine outdoors where
there is a fresh air.
CAUTION
Running the engine too long without
riding may cause the engine to
overheat.
Overheating can result in damage to
internal engine components and
discoloration of exhaust pipes.
Shut the engine off if you cannot begin
your ride promptly.
CAUTION
● ● Take off the starter switch right after
started.
● ● Do not engage the starting motor for
more than five seconds at a time as it
may overheat the wiring harness and
starting motor.
If the engine does not start after
several attempts, check the fuel
supply and igintion system.
