20 Setup for NetWare (NCP) AXIS StorPoint NAS 100 User's Guide
Using the NWAdmin, you will find a new server object and corresponding volume object in the
specified context.
Access Control
The way you manage security in NetWare depends on the mode you are using:
• Bindery mode without user authentication
• Bindery mode with user authentication
• NDS mode
The StorPoint NAS acts as a normal NetWare file server, which means that you use standard
procedures such as NWAdmin, SYSCON and Filer for handling security in NetWare. Refer to the
"AXIS StorPoint NAS 100 User's Manual, Section 4 - NetWare" for more details.
Note:
You cannot use the StorPoint NAS Web interface for setting up the NetWare access rights.
