Stage 3 - Basic System Settings

You probably want to configure the StorPoint NAS to meet your specific needs.
Use one of the following tools:
• Web browser - The StorPoint NAS Web interface, which is the preferred administration tool.
See description below. Requires the IP address to be set.
• Text editor - The StorPoint NAS text files. Refer to the "AXIS StorPoint NAS 100 User's
Manual, Appendix A - Parameter List" for more information.
Note:
For some parameter changes to take effect, the StorPoint NAS needs to be restarted. For more
information, see the User Manual.
Accessing the StorPoint NAS Web Pages
The StorPoint NAS Web interface is divided into two parts:
• The File View page for browsing and accessing files and folders on the networked discs. This
page is available to all users.
• The Administration pages for specifying configuration parameters and access rights. These
pages are intended for the Administrator only.
