Deactivate a configuration element. The element remains in the candidate configuration
or private copy, but when the configuration is later committed, the element does not
affect the functioning of the routing, switching, or security platform.
The
attribute can be combined with one or more of the
inactive
attributes, as described in "Changing a Configuration Element's Activation State
Simultaneously with Other Changes" on page 127. To reactivate a deactivated element,
include the
active
attribute instead.
