Changing the initial settings such as Voice and Tempo after
recording (MIDI recording)
With MIDI recording, you can change the setting of the performance data, even after recording. For
example, you can change the Voice to create a different ambience or adjust the Song tempo to your
preferences.
Types of data recorded by MIDI recording
With MIDI recording, the following types of data are recorded. Data marked
with a "*" in the following list can be changed after recording.
Individual Parts
• Notes played
• Voice selection*
• Pedal (Damper/Soft/Sostenuto)
• [REVERB] depth*
• [EFFECT] depth*
• Dual mode Voices*
• Dual balance*
• Dual detune*
• Dual octave shift
Entire Song
• Tempo*
• Time signature (beat)
• [REVERB] type (including Off)*
• [EFFECT] type (including Off)*
• Scale*
• Damper Resonance Depth*
• Soft Pedal Effect Depth*

Select a User Song.
Refer to steps 1 to 2 in "Quickly recording a performance without
specifying a part" (page 34).

Change the settings via the panel buttons.
For example, if you wish to change the recorded Voice from E. PIANO1 to
E. PIANO2, press the [E. PIANO2] button.

Call up the Record mode and select a part.
Press the [REC] button, then press the [RIGHT] or [LEFT] button. (Data
shared by two parts can be changed via either part.) The lamp of the
selected part flashes in red.
To cancel the changes and disengage Record mode, press the [REC] or
[STOP] button.
NOTICE
At this timing, be careful not to press the [PLAY/PAUSE] button or a key on the keyboard. Otherwise,
recording will start then erase all previously-recorded data on the selected part.
