All the indicated files are loaded from the TFTP server and stored in a /config/
path. For more information about the KIWI configuration, see Section 13.1, "Un-
derstanding the KIWI Configuration" (page 174).
2 2 . All the userland processes based on the boot image (dhcpcd -k) are terminated.
2 3 . The system image is mounted.
2 4 . The configuration files stored in the /config/ path are copied to the mounted
system image.
2 5 . If this is a new image, Image Install Notification occurs. If the terminal boots suc-
cessfully, this information will be synchronized into the LDAP directory.

2 9 . When linuxrc or the exec call terminates, the kernel initiates the init process, which
starts processing the boot scripts as specified in /etc/inittab.
7.8.2 Booting from CD (isoboot)
If you are unable to electronically distribute Point of Service images over your network,
you must manually distribute the images using isoboot images. For more information
on creating a isoboot image, see Chapter 12, Building Images with the Image Creator
Tool (page 163).
