Use a cover (c) to protect the sensor from rain and direct light. Do not install the sensor near the loading area (a). Make sure that there are no obstacles (f-e) in the emission range (lobe “ɑ”8°) of the probe that can be intercepted as a level.
  • Page 10 R80 - installation 5.1.7 - Installation in a trunk If the R80 sensor is installed in a stub pipe, you should make sure that the emitting part protrudes at least 10 mm from the stub pipe. 5.1.8 - Installation with bracket (Code: 844A003A) By installing R80 with the bracket accessory, it is possible to orient the emission lobe in the direction that guarantees a better quality of signal reception.
  • Page 11 R80 - installation 5.1.9 - Presence of agitators Level measurement is still possible thanks to the automatic measurement fi ltering system. It is only very rarely necessary to adjust the fi lter setting by changing the 2 programming parameters of the R80 sensor: - FILTER: increasing the value of this parameter decreases the sensitivity of the sensor to sudden changes in level, consequently increasing the response delay.
